Our innovation pipeline supports our mission to provide scalable, nature-derived psychedelic solutions that meet the highest pharmaceutical standards.

  • Psylabs has developed proprietary extraction, purification and stabilisation technologies for naturally derived psychoactive compounds. 
  • We have filed intellectual property relating to extraction methodologies and process optimisation designed to support standardisation, reproducibility and potential bioequivalence pathways between botanical extracts and refined APIs.

Research and development

We have pharmaceutical-grade APIs in innovative formulations to improve bioavailability and our standardised botanical extracts have been optimized for stability. 

PsyLabs is federally licensed to cultivate and export a number of psychedelic compounds to the legal medical and research markets. We have completed successful exports of psilocybin-containing mushrooms to Canada, the United Kingdom, Portugal and Slovenia and have sent psilocybin extracts to our CDMO partner in England.

Our NPX-5 psilocybin capsules have been approved for a Phase 2 clinical trial in Australia (NCT07072728).

Our licensed psychedelic cultivation, extraction, and production facilities are GMP-compliant and ISO 22000-certified, with comprehensive quality controls spanning cultivation, manufacturing, analytical testing, traceability, and documentation. Our quality framework is designed to bridge botanical manufacturing with pharmaceutical standards, supporting our pathway toward full EU GMP alignment and international regulatory compliance.

PsyLabs is federally licensed to cultivate and export psilocybin mushrooms and other psychedelic compounds, including psilocin, mescaline, ibogaine and dimethyltryptamine (DMT) to the legal medical and research markets. 

Our Facilities

PsyLabs operates licensed psychedelic cultivation and production facilities in Southern Africa.

Our cultivation facilities are high up in the mountains in Lesotho in a pristine natural environment.
